Service to Humanity
Since early childhood, Smt. Kabita Patra has been a naturally gifted soul having many unique talents and traits that are only exemplified by her actions in life. Service to humanity is one of the ideals she has been practising in several ways, throughout her life. Service to human beings has been a way of her life. And she has been practising this way of life only silently, so far.
The idea of donating the family car dedicated to the service of the people of Kharagpur occurred to her after the demise of her respected husband Late Sri Dhrubamoy Patra, who shared a similar philosophy of living life - as much for the service of other people as for one’s own self and one’s own family, with humility and equal respect for all human beings.
The family car (Maruti OMNI) is converted in to a functional Ambulance, and is now ready to serve (24 hours a day) the people of Kharagpur, with active participation of Balaji Mandir Pally Unnayan Samity members. We humbly request to avail of the service that is only a phone call away, and we would be grateful to you.
